Hi there! It took me months to realize that it might be a good idea to tell folks that The Frog with the Golden Eyes, the entire story, is on this front page and all you have to do is scroll down to get to the next part. I'm pretty much going to leave this page as it until November.2008 when I graduate as this story has to be accessible until then. Note: The sidebar access to the story parts has them in the wrong order and I don't know how to fix that without fouling everything up. 

This story 'The Frog with the Golden Eyes' is at least 20 years old. It's one of those things I work on until it makes me crazy again. In 2002 I put it away for the umpteenth time not pulling it out again 'til Fall 2007. I had an ulterior motive, this version (the five part podcast) is my submission for the fiction module of a master's degree (MA in Creative Writing and New Media) at De Montfort University in the UK.

It's a fairy tale of sorts and part 1 is called Falling In.  I am a quiet (for the most part) storyteller so you might want to turn up your speakers when listening. The stories were recorded with Audacity 1.2.6 a free, open source software. Audacity website here

Part 4 of this story is called Bridge. In the aftermath of her adventure with the heart, our heroine gets lost and tries to find her way back to the pool. Podcast length is 3 mins. 24 secs.

Part 5 of this story is called Return. Our heroine gets back to the pool after using a bridge that appeared in a unexpected fashion.  This is the final part of the story. Podcast length is 5 mins. 17 secs.
